Lenawee Community Ambulance presents
Heart Safe Award
to Siena Heights Lenawee Community
Ambulance presented a Heart Safe
Organization Award to Siena Heights University at the Annual Emergency
Medical Services Recognition Awards Dinner. Siena Heights University was
recognized for their cardiac emergency
response program, making automated external defibrillators available on
campus, training personnel in CPR and AED use, and having a cardiac
emergency response plan in place that is practiced regularly.
They were joined by LCA
employees and other community members who also received awards. The
awards dinner takes place during National Emergency Medical Services
Week which honors
EMS providers who deliver lifesaving emergency care nationwide 24 hours
a day, seven days a week. Huron Valley Ambulance, a nationally accredited nonprofit service, created Lenawee Community Ambulance in 1995. Lenawee Community Ambulance provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance service to residents in the City of Adrian; Cambridge Township, including the Village of Onsted; Clinton Township, including the Village of Clinton; Franklin Township; Macon Township; Raisin Township, Ridgeway Township, including the Village of Britton; Rome Township; the City of Tecumseh and Tecumseh Township. Two ambulances each are based in Adrian and Tecumseh; additional ambulances are based in Cambridge Township and Raisin Township. |
