About Lenawee Community Ambulance

Lenawee Community Ambulance (LCA) was formed in early 1995 when Huron Valley Ambulance was invited to serve the communities of Tecumseh and Clinton.  We began with one station located at Herrick Memorial Hospital.  In 1996, we purchased the assets of Jackson Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (JEMS), which had stations in Adrian and the Irish Hills area..  LCA is a nonprofit organization.

JCA handles approximately 5,000 calls for service each year in Lenawee County.  LCA operates 2 paramedic units Adrian, 1 unit in Tecumseh and 1 unit in the Irish Hills.  Back up units are also based in these three communities for a total of seven ALS units.

The company's headquarters is located on West Maumee Street in the City of Adrian.
